Many children with autism spectrum disorder and other mental and physical disabilities tend to lose some skills over the summer or winter break when school is no longer part of their daily routine. Thus, we offer summer and winter programs that focus on social skills and provide various treatments to maintain and build on their skills over the vacation period. Our camp does include outings in the community, whereby every child can practice these skills in a real-world setting. This program helps children continue practicing the social and behavioral skills they have learned throughout the school year. It also leans on those skills to prepare them for school enrollment as well as real-world scenarios.
